Tom Wagoner is a native Wyoming resident. Growing up on a large cattle ranch has given him the opportunity to spend his life raising and training horses. His strong horsemanship skills and natural ability to work and train horses is an art that many people envy.
Tom lived and ranched in Texas for 10 years. This gave him the chance to meet, spend time, and work with many well known horseman and trainers.
Tom's clinics are outstanding due to his natural ability to work with people and explain his techniques. He is very thorough in developing a good rapport and working through the stages of halter breaking. He builds a strong foundation for his horses at a very young age. Tom develops each horse's confidence and creates a positive working relationship to easily accomplish each new task. He attains many of his complex goals through groundworking exercises, but at first his main focus is to gain control of the horse's feet; thus he has developed a new approach to training horses that he calls "Feet-First Horsemanship!
"For the Sake of the Horse" Bill Hackett, professional horse therapist, provides assistance during all of Tom's clinics. Bill's services have been found to be a huge asset to both, the horses and the students. Bill presents information on the importance of horse therapy. He explains what his services have to offer the horse Industry, why and how his therapy is effective, and how you, as a horse owner, will benefit. Bill and his assistants, Sarah Mankin and Terrie Kissack, will always be available to accept appointments.
